2. What data we process and where it comes from
We only process the data you give us and what is strictly necessary for the website to work:
- Contact form: name, telephone, email, company, subject and the content of your enquiry.
- Direct communications: whatever data appears in the emails or calls you send us.
- Technical browsing data: the minimum needed to keep your session and remember the language you chose.
We do not collect special categories of data, we do not build profiles and we do not make automated decisions that affect you.
3. What we use it for and on what legal basis
| Purpose | Legal basis |
|---|---|
| Answering your enquiry and, where appropriate, preparing a proposal for you | Your consent and pre-contractual steps taken at your request (art. 6.1.a and 6.1.b GDPR) |
| Managing the contractual relationship if we end up working together | Performance of a contract (art. 6.1.b GDPR) |
| Meeting our legal, tax and accounting obligations | Legal obligation (art. 6.1.c GDPR) |

We do not use your data to send you marketing you have not asked for. If we ever wanted to, we would ask for your express consent first and you could withdraw it whenever you wished.
4. How long we keep it
- Enquiries that do not lead to a contract: up to one year from the last contact, unless you ask us to delete them sooner.
- Contractual relationships: for as long as the relationship lasts and, afterwards, for the limitation periods of any legal claims that could arise.
- Tax and accounting records: the periods required by applicable law, generally six years.
- Technical session data: deleted when you close the browser or when the corresponding cookie expires.
5. Who we share it with
We do not sell or transfer your data to third parties for commercial purposes. Only the following may access it:
- The technology providers we need in order to operate, such as site hosting and email service. They act as data processors and only process the data on our instructions, under a signed processing agreement.
- Our accounting, tax and legal advisers, where necessary to comply with regulations.
- Public authorities and courts, where there is a legal obligation to provide it.
6. Transfers outside the European Economic Area
We work with clients in several countries, but the data you give us through this website is processed within the European Economic Area. If in future any provider involved an international transfer, it would be carried out with the safeguards required by chapter V of the GDPR, whether an adequacy decision of the European Commission or standard contractual clauses, and we would update this policy before doing so.
7. What rights you have
You may exercise the following rights at any time, free of charge:
- Access: to know what data of yours we process.
- Rectification: to correct data that is inaccurate or incomplete.
- Erasure: to ask us to delete it when it is no longer necessary.
- Restriction: to ask us to keep it but stop using it in certain cases.
- Objection: to object to our processing on grounds relating to your particular situation.
- Portability: to receive your data in a structured, commonly used format, or have us send it to another controller.
- Withdrawal of consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out beforehand.
To exercise them, write to us at info@ianservision.com stating which right you wish to exercise and attaching a copy of a document proving your identity. We will reply within one month at the latest.
8. Complaints to the supervisory authority
If you believe we have not handled your request properly, you may lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency, at Calle Jorge Juan 6, 28001 Madrid, and online at www.aepd.es.
9. Security
We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against destruction, loss, alteration or unauthorised access: encrypted communications over HTTPS, role-based access control, regular backups and review of the permissions of those who can reach the information.
10. Cookies
This website uses only technical cookies needed to keep your session and remember the language you have chosen. We use no analytics, advertising or third-party cookies. The full detail is in our cookie policy.
11. Minors
Our services are aimed at companies and professionals. We do not knowingly collect data from children under fourteen through this website. If we find that we have, we will delete it.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect legislative changes or new services. The date of the last update appears at the top of the document. If a change is substantial, we will tell you through the contact details we hold.
